{ Joan+ Tim } | Engaged | Rough Trade + High Voltage Music Festival

Oh I heart this session!

You know sometimes you meet some people and feel like you’ve known them for ages? That’s exactly how I felt with Joan and Tim. Joan & Tim booked me on the spot when we first met, and I have been excited about shooting their engagement shoot since!

They wanted to have an urban feel to their engagement shoot to contrast their upcoming English country wedding and I suggested a record store location to complement their music theme. Great minds think alike and we both had Rough Trade @ Brick Lane in mind! A couple of days before the shoot Joan emailed me to say she got tickets to the High Voltage music festival and wondered if I would be interested in doing some of the shoot there – yup count me in! It turned out to be a blast and safe to say I definitely mixed business with pleasure! Once the shoot was “over” (even though I kept shooting anyway) we just enjoyed the festival with some lovely cider and great company – gotta love the British summer!

and a wee “behind the scene” footage…….
