{ Rachael + Rafe } | Eco Festival Tipi Wedding | Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

I had the pleasure of documenting Rachael & Rafe’s special day – it was my first *full* reportage coverage, they didn’t even want any group photos.

Rachael & Rafe are both musicians and keen festival-goers, and their wedding was literally like being at a festival – an exclusive one where the attendees are all family & friends:)There was music aplenty, bonfire, tipis & camping facilities for guests, and even a festival tent with a cafe to complete the experience.

It was a very relaxed day starting with everyone heading to the ceremony site, where the hand-fasting (pagan) ceremony was performed. Lunch was picnic (in cute hampers) and the guests had come prepared with picnic rugs and camping chairs. The rain held off for most of it but what rain they had didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, as soon as the rain stopped everyone was out again on the hay bales.

The afternoon turned into an active one with circus workshop, cricket and football game on offer. Little hungry tummies were then fed with gorgeous hog roast and cupcakes. The evening began with the opening band who had everyone up and dancing. The party continued after a short break to release the enchanting flying lanterns.

So here’s a selection of photos to give you a glimpse of the story of Rachael & Rafe’s day!
