I was going to blog another wedding, and then I decided to blog something a little personal first – because I haven’t posted anything personal for ages, it is a nice follow up to the previous destination wedding post and well, I do like reminiscing about the warmth and sunshine… I decided to tag a mini holiday at the back of the Greece destination wedding as, well… I love the Greek Islands! We have previously been to (and loved) Naxos and Santorini (someone book me to shoot a wedding there please!) so decided to visit the ever so popular Mykonos. I had my doubt as it is supposed to be one of the most touristy islands but have to say I was SO pleasantly surprised. Yes, it’s a bit touristy (yeah well most places are nowadays) but I love the buzz of the town and if you prefer quiet, I could highly recommend Panormos, a gorgeous northern beach with a different vibe – we stayed there for a couple of days and it was Bliss (yes the capital B was intentional). Imagine lounging on giant pillow with a glass of vino at the beach bar, dipping into the cool water when it gets too hot… we’re no beach bums but we likey! Yes, I’m a total dork (hey at least I’m not a hypocrite, I don’t just make my clients jump around, see? I jump too). Oh and that’s me and my boy… how I <3 him so!
