Jenny & Gary were recommended to me by wedding planner extraordinaire Josie from Savoir Weddings. The moment Josie told me they wanted a super relaxed wedding with a loose pirate theme I was hooked (no pun intended)!
So we all know how this summer has behaved so far, luckily Jenny & Gary bagged one of the few truly sunshiny (and scorching!) days we’ve had this year. Guests were invited to walk up a hill (accompanied by some curious bovines) and into a canopy of trees where a hessian runner led them to a parrots cloth backdrop. Guests gathered around and were then invited to rehearse a song to sing as the beautiful bride walked down the aisle with her father. The ceremony was beautiful with plenty of hugs going around. Post ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks with a view, and sunshine, up on the hill before making their way back down to Fison Barn where drinks, giant lawn games and the photo booth awaited.
Jenny & Gary were such a relaxed couple (Gary changed into shorts shortly after the reception started) who just wanted to have loads of fun on their big day and to celebrate it with everyone they love – and it was beautiful.
And now for some pirate ahoy photo booth pics! You may have guessed the chalkboard was “sabotaged” by Gary’s friends…
