A great start to 2013 { + a Paris shoot sneak peek }

One thing I’ve learned in this job is, contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a quiet season (or if there is then it’s never reached shelldemar-quarter). My January was full of madness but also full of goodness.

It started with some family time in Holland followed by lots of client shoots, I was then asked to photograph the Blogacdemy London the weekend before I went to a week long “retreat” at the Photography Farm‘s Farm Week where I also held my first ever workshop (I’m hoping to blog about this so very fun & inspiring week soon). And no sooner had I unpacked from Farm Week than I repacked all my camera gears again for a whirlwind photo trip to Paris with the lovely Lisa Devlin and the Blogcademy girls!

So far February has been all about catching up with workload and lots of client meetings. With my first wedding of the season coming up this Saturday, I fear there truly is no rest for the wicked.

    An amazing use of colours and filters, and Paris is just fantastic. A great portrait is all about the lighting, positioning and backdrop, and they are absolutely stunning in this photograph. You have truly captured the essence of what you were trying to achieve, but you have also captured everything to love about Paris.ReplyCancel
